Sales Lead Manager

As a result of rapid expansion, MindFireInc® is currently seeking a Sales Leads Manager responsible for qualifying and assigning leads, scheduling demos for the Sales team and identifying new opportunities through cold-calling campaigns. The successful candidate must be a highly organized, analytical individual with strong phone skills and database management capabilities.
This newly created position, based in the company’s Irvine, CA office and reporting to the EVP of Sales, will be instrumental in helping drive the organization’s sales activity. Prior inside sales experience in a software environment is required. Compensation is competitive and based on experience level.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include qualifying and assigning sales leads, managing their entry into MindFireInc®’s CRM system and scheduling product demos for the Sales team. Key activities include the following:
- Serve as the central point of contact for all sales inquiries generated by MindFireInc®’s marketing activities
- Rapidly respond to and qualify leads to assess their viability and fit for software and professional services sales
- Accurately enter, update, and maintain prospect information in SalesForce.com for processing leads, and keeping comprehensive and accurate client information
- Assign accounts to members of the sales team based on pre-defined criteria
- Engage in cold-calling efforts to identify new leads across different market segments
- Support executive management with the collection of accurate and complete operating metrics
- Participate in the development of automating process improvements
- Identify market themes to determine customer needs and report back changing market conditions to management
Qualifications
- BA, BS or equivalent
- 3-5 years experience in an inside sales or inside sales management role
- Excellent phone skills with the ability to effectively communicate with prospects and qualify their interest
- Advanced knowledge and familiarity with SalesForce.com is required
- Previous experience in a metrics-based, volume-driven software sales environment is highly preferred
- Internet-savvy with the ability to research the web for new leads
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
