The Training Manager is responsible for the management and coordination of open training classes targeted at aiding our clients to use our software, and interfacing with the clients, partners and many internal departments to support all required activities of conducting online virtual trainings and classroom workshops. Additionally, the Training Manager will strategize with the Client Services Support team to further develop the training curriculum to answer any questions the clients may have before they arise.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrated subject matter expert in designing and developing all forms of instruction: instructor-led, self-paced and formal/informal collaborative learning environments.
- Leverage instructional design expertise to develop consistent, high-quality, role-based training curriculum and facilitate training sessions, with an emphasis on On Demand learning solutions.
- Managing and coordinating class registrations.
- Setting up Classrooms for classes (classroom and virtual, including GotoMeeting/Webinar).
- Tracking training budgets/ expenditures/POs.
- Producing course materials (hard copy).
- Managing Client satisfaction issues by logging and resolving support cases.
Required Skills/Experience
- Strong Project Management/organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to own and move a project through from beginning to end.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills-informing internals of progress, barriers to hitting deadlines before this becomes an issue, giving/receiving feedback.
- Demonstrated (positive) experience interacting with internal/external clients.
- Strong PC, Excel, Powerpoint, Word, and Internet navigational knowledge, as well as HTML, Flash, and Javascript.
- Bachelor's degree or 5 years equivalent experience, preferably in, training, operations, client service, or related area.
- 5 years in a corporate training environment, preferably for hi-tech software company.
- Understands and works effectively with people in technical/engineering roles.
- Fluency with the MindFire’s LookWho’sClicking (preferred).
